Ringing in the New Year

After a nice Christmas here in Arizona, we followed my parents back home to California.

 

We met up with my brother Daniel for lunch in downtown SLO -

 and then hit the usual tourist traps - Santa's House and the Mission.

 

On another day we met up with my cousin Hayley and her two kids, Maddie and Mason.

 

 

We had lunch in Los Osos and then walked the Elfin Forest.

Here we all are for a family selfie!  Morro Rock is above my head to the right.

 

Family reunions continued coincidentally one evening for dinner at my brother's restaurant - Firestone Grill.

 

Here is my brother and I with our cousins Michelle and Lydia.  You may recall Lydia was one of our bridesmaids!

It was so cool to see them all!

 

 

While Sienna and Spenser were at the movies with my brother Ken, Rob and I stole away to Avila Beach.

 

 

 

It was a bit chilly, but we made time for a quick selfie-stick photo shoot.

 

It was a short yet sweet trip and now we're back in Arizona, ready to start our 2015.

The Christmas card has been created and sent, thankfully.  Here are some pictures that didn't make the cut.  All were taken with a selfie-stick, to ensure commitment to our "theme."
