Graduation

It is very evident that my blogging activity has significantly dwindled, as Sienna graduated almost 2 months ago and there is no proof of it on the blog!  So sorry for the delay.  I can't promise I'll do better, but I always at least like to share the highlights of our lives.  So here goes.

Here is the view from our very hard to find seats in the bleachers at Perry High School.  Luckily it wasn't too hot and the ceremony wasn't terribly long.

It took us awhile to finally find her on the field afterward, but when we did - it was a photo fest!

She did it!  And so well too!

Her graduation party followed the next day and was a fun and well-attended event.
Here are the decorations, some of which Sienna did herself (photo ribbons).

Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the food table - but trust me - it was a good one.  It was an Italian menu:  Fettucine Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna, Caesar salad, Italian salad, and rolls galore!  Yummy!  Kudos to Rob and Grandpa for preparing all the food.

Speaking of - here are her lovely grandparents who flew all the way out from New Jersey!

Lots of band friends!

Graduation cake!

Photo booths!

Thanks to our family and friends who contributed to the development of this fine young lady!

Happy Mother's Day

For my special day I rounded everyone up early for breakfast at Village Inn and then a family photo shoot.  There were no complaints and everyone was up in time!  Yay!

We headed to the Chandler Environmental Center for some pictures.

Happy Mother's Day!

Prom 2016

"An Aviation Affair" took place Saturday night at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona.  Falcon Field is an airport, so its location makes sense.

I'll start with the "Lady in Red," since this is her Senior Prom.  She complained about her hair most of the day, as what she imagined her hair looking like didn't actually materialize.  You can't see it in the pictures but there are three braids on the left side of her head that transition into the curls.  She wasn't happy with the braiding aspect but I think the end result was beautiful! It took the two of us to get ALL THAT HAIR curled!

I met Sienna and her friend Sarah at a park near Sarah's house to take a few pre-prom photos.

Sarah was in the marching band and drumline with both Sienna and Spenser.

Now it's Buddy's turn.  So yes, he's a sophomore, going to Prom with a popular senior girl.  Sienna wasn't too happy about it, but it all worked out in the end.  He's never owned a suit before, so it was quite a sight to see him all dappered up!

The shades were a touch he and his boys decided to add.  He looks cool, this is true, but I wanted to see his eyes, so I had to take some sans specs.

And here he is with Bryttney.  Cue the awww's!
